I started the thread, and I’m the last one to watch it here, lol.

I enjoyed it. Lighthearted fun. Silly? Sure…but still fun.

Mantis and Drax were the main characters for sure. Anybody here thinks Mantis is super cute? I do. Actress Pom Klementieff owns that role.

Anybody noticed Dave Bautista’s puffy face? His not chiseled like in the previous movies.

And what happened to Groot? Looks like he’s taking steroids. Dude is juiced to the roots…

P.S. Nice too see Michael Rooker aka Yondu back, albeit in cartoon form.

Bautista is 50 years old plus I think he's doing a suspense movie right now plus maybe packing the extra weight for Beast Rabban in Dune part 2

Bautista has complained that he can't stay in "Drax" shape much longer, so I think there's a reason we're not seeing shirtless Drax in this or Guardians 3, apparently. He definitely seemed the one most willing to just walk away when Gunn was fired (before being re-hired), so his commitment to the Guardians projects and the MCU seems the most tenuous.

Mantis is indeed super-cute. As is the actress, Pom Klementieff. I really like her character, whereas I can't stand the comic version.

I did laugh at the bits about Batman.

I think with Baustista's sense of humor 20 years ago in his prime we would have been a great Shazam/Captain Marvel.

I guess I will be the odd person out because I hated it. I felt apologetic to my family for suggesting we watch it. I know it was parody, but I am really nervous about James Gunn and the DC Movie Universe. I haven't watched Peacemaker yet, but I did not enjoy the second Suicide Squad movie either.
