I was fine with New-Who up until the mid-late Matt Smith era

Matt Smith was a great Dr Who ( VERY likable Gent) --- but the writers made his later stories I just didn't understand...

By the time Capaldi entered the picture all I seen was a butt-hole (sell your children out) Torchwood character that could never redeem himself.

Sorry Torchwood, you ruined the 12 Doctor before I had ever seen him

        Never really liked Nu-Who.
Wasn't impressed by Eccleston or Tennant.
I grew to like Matt Smith somewhat, and I did like Peter Capaldi in the role (even though the majority of his stories were very lacklustre).
The Whittaker/Chinballs era was utterly abysmal.
I hold no hope for Gatwa.

Just give Paul McGann a flashback season already.

I've said this a million times in the past but will revisit.

My biggest gripe against Capaldi is I couldn't understand what the hell he was saying half the time.

          I just couldn't understand him.

Did the BBC do this on purpose as a kind of screw you to non-British peoples ?

David Tennent (who is as well Scottish) spoke PERFECTLY intelligible English to EVERYONE in the Anglosphere.

David Tennant was doing a "Dick Van Dyke" British accent. Capaldi just used his own voice, and I know I'm a 1/4 Scotch but I always understood him. I actually had trouble in the Whittaker years because they all had the same accent and it sounded like an "East Enders" much of the time.

Yaz had a Yorkshire accent, Ryan was attempting one, Graham had an Essex accent and Dan had a Liverpool accent.
You develop an ear for these things.

I know people from Liverpool who couldn't understand that guy. He's in a special category all his own.

It's true, his regular speaking voice is just like my nan.

Either watch the Ducktales reboot or wait until the Ashoka series comes out. You'll be able to hear what David really sounds like.

I don't know a thing about the show, but I think that costuming is fantastic.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I think they're only going to be in those costumes for one story.
