Trying to find a thread...

...and have had no luck with the Forum search function. Someone had made a post about finding some of the earlier nuMego figures in a local mom & pop type store (possibly located in one of the NYC boroughs?) and asked if anyone was in need of the figures on the list he provided (at least I think there was a list). He also made a point about how he wasn't going to reveal the actual location of said store. This sound familiar to anyone?

I know the one to which you are referring. I can't recall who posted it though. I don't think it was in Marketplace. It might have been VintageMike or BlueMeanie. It also may have been deleted by the author.

Geez, I didn't even know you could delete a thread that you started. There's one or two I posted way back when (that no longer have any relevance) which I wouldn't mind getting rid of...

Going to make one more inquiry to see if anyone has come across the above-referenced post (I've used just about every search term I can think of and had no luck). If you happen to find it please post a link, and if no one does then I'm going to presume (as EMCE Hammer suggested) that it was deleted.

Wow, I don't know how you found the thread. I searched a couple of times extensively.

I vaguely remembered the thread and I took a couple of stabs using quotations to wrap some phrases related to what I remembered being the gist of the original post. "reveal the name" had only one search result returned and it was the thread.
