LJN SWAT/Rookies/Emergency

I was lucky enough to get some of the SWAT heads on discount and I was wondering is anybody has repro heads of them. Since FTC/CTVT has the outfits and accessories available, I was curious if anybody out there is collecting these figures?

I only ever bought SWAT figures for their upper arms...

Though now I'm temped to put the heads I have on FTC Type S bodies and dress em up in their gear.

Talking with my brother and mother this weekend, we had a few of the LJN S.W.A.T. & Rookie figures along with CHiPs that went with our Batman 66 Megos as Gotham Police Department.

I have been slowly collecting parts of the LJN lineup for future Svengoolie projects. It seems I need to have some cops made available for those movies without monsters.

I have been collecting them off and on for some time. I was using spare Classic TV toys bodies then upgrading them to LGN bodies when I could afford them. Classic TV toys does make it easy to dress the figures out. LJN uniforms do not seem to hold up well.

This is what I like about the CTVT. They have most of the parts to redo the 'first responder" figures

Here's my Johnny Gage and Roy DeSoto. I went with the White shirt and Turnout gear jacket look. The Repro Helmets are a bit dodgy. I am probably gonna haft to
add some foam or something to get a snug fit.

Sorry the pics are dark, But the strips of tape on CTVT jacket are reflective. (Nice touch!!!)
