I took a picture of Target's cereal display when I was there about two weeks ago. Surprised to see Fruit Brute.

That's the only one I found on my last trip, just a pallet of Fruit Brute.

It looks like the retro packaging (that we saw last year) is back again this year, but Fruit Brute is new. Maybe Yummy Mummy will be available next season.

Edited to add I just noticed the spelling is now "FRUTE Brute".

Got my Frankenberry cereal earlier today at my local Target, gotta have my strawberry oats and marshmallows.

While I was standing in front of the cereal display shelf looking at the characters, I always wondered if it was created by General Mills what flavor cereal would Creature from the Black Lagoon eat? I thought maybe it would be green flavor marshmallows tasting like mint? with green color oats, so it would be a minty flavored cereal, just saying green because it’s the color of CFTBL.

I also thought about a monster cereal with vanilla marshmallows and oats, but couldn’t think of which monster would be used? Yes folks I know, I need to get a life!

These figures are bunches of fun and I hope Jason is right about the possibility of the other figures getting made. I would've been thrilled to have these back in the 70's, but like he said, better late than never. The packaging is fantastic, and that they come with little boxes of cereal to display is just perfect detailing. Thanks for posting this, I'm glad I'm not the only one diggin' these things.

Holy Smoke, I had those towels! I'd all but forgotten them. I used the Count Chocula & Franken Berry one for the beach & camping and the Boo Berry one was my bathroom towel throughout grade school. Thank you for posting this, totally made my morning!

Honestly it looks like a Carl Sagan video or something haha. Don't know if he was going for that vibe but he nailed it!
