I probably walked past those Inter-Changeables at Toys R' Us, but I somehow totally missed out on Micronauts toys, so I didn't really know what they looked like until the early 90s.

The Super Squirt box is one of the most subversive pieces of marketing I've seen come out of the 70s for a kids toy. The punk kid (Johnny) makes a girl say "You wet my pants", then when his teacher demands he turn over his Squirt Balls he says "Ty and catch me!" with a devious look on his face! Someone at Fleer was having fun with this.
