The new Mego Medusa is showing up on Ebay so the artwork looks good, the figure has moved up to a want!!!

Nice figure. Is it based on any particular incarnation of the character? It doesn't look like a Harryhausen but it's not quite Hammer's Gorgon either.

Oh, I totally agree. I was just wondering as a lot of the monsters have been based on film properties. More original mythological characters please! (Minotaur, Rakshasa, Banshee, Satyr, Mermaid, to mention a few)

This figure really looks neat, not sure what it’s based on but it’s an A+ Medusa nevertheless.

Ooh, and a 14" Cyclopes would be cool.

The Medusa was supposed to be based on Hammer Horror version:

but something happened with the rights, so they went with their own version.

And I would LOVE a 14 inch Cyclops!!!!
