Mego 50th Anniversary WGSH revealed

So pleased that Hal is finally a real Mego. Also happy he was the big announcement (Mr. Jordan deserves that status). And judging by the side of the box, his emerald partner in crime fighting is also in the offing.

Green Lantern is definitely a nice surprise and as mentioned maybe will see removable mask Flash too.

If they decide to make some villains, aside from the original bad guys I would like to see Lex Luthor added to the mix, since I was surprised he wasn’t done back in the 70’s in the 8 inch version.

I was shocked to see that Green Lantern. Hal looks like exceptional. The other 50th figures look great too.

Oh I will be getting Green Lantern and depending on where and how much I will be getting quite a bit so I can make a GLC!!

Well, first figure to get...two of...GL...one to collect the box and fig...the other to have the figure out. Mego should have done it in their first run back in the day. And to include the Battery of Power...that's full circle.

Joel has been putting video clips on Ambassadors from the factory. One of them was Batgirl belts being produced.

Makes me wonder if we're not going to get EVERY DC figure. I would be very happy to get the Teen Titans in a newly designed box!

I suspect we might get most of the original DC Megos. Looking at that Green Lantern gives me hope that maybe we'll get a lot of others that were never made by the original Mego.

The suit is a similar pattern, but with vinyl rather than "pleather" glove-cuffs. The fabric appears different to me--I hope it is--and the head sculpt is new. And it features traditional Mego "hero" boots.
