    Classic Farmer's Markets

Used to have a classic farmer's market near me back in the 70's …

Was open every Sat and Sun

Still remember, the butcher had a poster that would never fly today...
A woman in a bikini with her "parts" sectioned off as beef cuts...
Not to mention today, even back then as a kid I thought this was highly inappropriate and just plain WEIRD.

Need to buy a grave stone ? …. we have you covered at the local farmer's market

REAL Italian cheese-cake ---- Yes the kind made with Ricotta cheese...
Only prob, i'd be happy to pay a few extra bucks for one without a used Band-Aid baked in the mix.

"Surprise Packages" ….. Pay a dollar and get when you get …
Payed a dollar and got a rubber over-easy egg..
    8 Track of Cabaret soundtrack
wax bottle syrup (don't even ask me) what this is

Only thing I've ever ran into back in the day when the market was on it's last leg ….
They had a seller with a BILLION John Lennon figures
    Cassic GI Joe 12-inch …

    Was like $1.99 apiece
    Refused to spend a penny

    What da H was I t-inking ?

We have a Farmer's Market around here every Wednesday in the Summer-I have a couple of relatives who like them a lot.

I was to a grand total of one, and remember there were a couple of belly dancer's doing there thing, a guy playing songs on an acoustic guitar, I think there was also a full band somewhere in the area... Lots of fresh produce, as well as fresh eggs, honey, and a few vendors selling assorted craft items too...

Nothing that you wouldn't expect to see I suppose...

^--- Being serenaded by a sax while shopping for incredibly delectable fruits and veggies …

Why dah-heck am I still here living in Pencil-neck-vania ?

Oooops, just remembered, …. not a fan of tarantulas, earth quakes and water shortages

Maybe I might just stay here where he have plenty water, and our biggest spider is the wolf-spider … Scary, but not a tarantula scary

Oh, then you wouldn't like Cali; they're everywhere! They even attacked Billy when he visited.

She did, and I'm going to post a Summer Salad Recipe using them.

There was a story around here that a bunch of shelled peas that were sold in the region at Farmer's Markets had salmonella. Those peas may not have been to die for, but they surely could make someone sick.
