Freedom Fighters Doll Man and Group Shot

Freedom Fighters Doll Man and a group shot. Doll Man uses a Superman head with some re-sculpted hair. A Heavy Metal Heroes Silver Surfer from Toy Biz is on the way; slapping a HHH Mr. Fantastic head on it and then making it into the shrunken DM (already used the Surfer twice for the Atom). Have the team up and ready for action now.

Nice, Dollman is sort of 1:1 scale when you think about it.

That is a great group of figures. You are going to need more ceiling soon!

Good job on him, as well as the entire group.

Got a chance to do the shrunken version of Doll Man over the long weekend. A Toy Biz Heavy Metal Heroes Silver Surfer body with a Mr. Fantastic head from the same line is the base. Had to re-sculpt the hair a bit and re-paint the face (painting around the eyes because there was no way I could paint or make eyes with pupils and an upper eyelid that small). Boot cuffs are small pieces of sewn pleather painted over, and the cape is the same material used on the full sized version. And I didn't notice the belt came loose in the back until I looked at these pics; gotta fix that when I get home.

I considered it. Nothing prevents me from adding on down the road, but I don't know how I'd make the mini-version...

Well Done! This is a team i want to work on again. I only had Ray and Human Bomb done last time and i bought an Uncle Sam figure but his coat was too flashy. As soon as i finish 7 Soldiers of Victory and have more JSA done I will move onto All-Star Squadron and Freedom Fighters. I want a large group of Golden Age heroes before I work on More 80's silver age Heroes and More importantly continue with the Legion. Once I have maybe 100 DC Customs then I will move back over to Marvel Heroes, right now i only have the original X-Men and Prof X and Black Widow. However there are so many lines that interest me it will be years before I even start some of them.
