He actually passed away in March! I found out by accident yesterday! I had to give him a shout out now...........
While he did a number of films, and was a former professional wrestler as well, he will always be best known as "Rocky" -- the bully who beat up a depowered Clark Kent in "Superman II." Then, when he got his powers back, Clark got his revenge on him back at the diner! While there are many classic scenes in that terrific 1980 sequel, many people remember the "Rocky" character very well.
Interesting to note, in his autobiography that he graciously sent me through the mail (he was always a very good autograph signer), he noted that he could not stand working with Christopher Reeve!
