Comic artist Tim Sale has passed at age 66 after a brief hospitalization. Sale is perhaps best known for his work on Batman projects like the Long Halloween and the various Marvel color projects (Daredevil: Yellow, Hulk: Grey etc.). I first encountered Sale's art in the late 80s when I found the adaptations of the Thieves World fantasy series he did at Starblaze Graphics in the mid 80s. Sale will be missed but his legacy will endure.
