Rocketeer rocket pack straps

I’ve been on the fence about this figure primarily due to the fact that some reviewers mention the difficulty they had in putting the pack on the figure due to what appears to be really thin and possibly fragile straps. What have your experiences been with these ? Are they more durable than they look?

They're not great, but they're also not directly attached to the rocket pack, so you could easily replace them with something else.

They are tight and it is a bit of a pain to get on, but it is really not a big issue. Once you get the pack on (and I have every confidence that you will), the figure is great.

I purchase some thin leather cord at the craft store and made upgraded straps from that. The strap that comes with him works, but I thought the leather would look nicer on the figure. Great figure either way, one of my favorites!
