With One Magic Word... Black Adam!

Black Adam arrived today, and height issues aside, he is very well done. He has no problem keeping a standing pose unlike the GA I received. His suit is well tailored and very snug, and may not translate well to a larger body. To rectify the height issue, I will use this head and the suit from the Mattel version to create one that is taller.

He looks good! Mine should be here later this week. Captain Marvel, Black Adam and Work were my most anticipated Topps figures.

I was afraid of this: Suit is too small for a corrected body. We r stuck with a diminutive Black Adam :( on that crappy Sidekick body.

The Mattel Black Adam suit is essentially the same as the Mego suit, so it will work for any solution to the height issue.

How is the size of Black Adam's head sculpt?

I was a little disheartened when I put Robin up against ST:TMP Spock, only to see how small Spock's head is in comparison, and realizing that Mego did fix the skin shade and that Robin will not look right moved onto a Mego Bandless body.

I didn't get a small head vibe with Green Arrow.

Black Adam's head is a bit smaller, but when I put his head on a banded body and just eyeballing it he fits in well enough for my taste--in this case just a fraction shorter than GA on the Mattel body. When I get some free time I'll put up some pictures.

Here's Black Adam with a vintage Mego body and the Mattel suit. His head is a little on the small side, but the proportions work well enough for my eye.

Here's Black Adam on a vintage Mego body next to the Mattel Green Arrow body. Mileage varies, of course, but he fits in enough to satisfy me.

Looks good! I like the gauntlets on the Mattel more than the Mego Black Adam.
