    Topps Ra's Al Ghul In-hand

I haven't seen any in-hand pictures of Ra's Al Ghul, so here are a couple of pictures of mine.

Looks great! Is he on the sidekick body as well?

Since he's so short in the package, I'd say "yes".

Looks better than I thought it would. I hope Worf is on the old body. Otherwise I’m gonna leave him in the package and buy the DS9 Worf and an extra Geordi figure and put Worf’s head on it.

Pretty sure he is, due to size in package and that he was paired with Green Arrow, which is on the new body.

I think the head sculpt looks great, but his head looks tiny. It's also interesting that on the packaged promo picture, Ra's does not have painted teeth like mine does.

Looking at the promo pictures, it looks like Worf is on the old body.

GAH! They gave him eyebrows! The rest of the figure looks fine, but Neal Adams specfically designed Ra's with no eyebrows to give him a more distinct look!

Maybe the non-Topps version has no eyebrows?

I never noticed that before, but I love little details like that. Fascinating little factoid!

I think the 26 points of articulation is the clue on all these (for the newer body.)

Incorrectly printed on the figures with the older body.

The hands appear to be the clue.

Would have looked more like the artwork if they had painted on the shadow/shading around his eyes.

Got my Ra's in today, and his eyebrows don't bother me much. They are kind of hidden under his very pronoucned brow. The sculpt is capturing that somewhat elongated Adams head, and the costume looks really nice. I did have to tuck the shirt in, because Ra's was being way too casual! I like him lurking in the Batcave.

Earth 2 Chris, what do you think about the size of Ra's Al Ghul's head? I haven't opened mine yet; it could be the odd Neal Adam's shape, but it just looks so tiny in package.

I don't have it in front of me, but I think the head size is fine. They are definitely following that oddly shaped cranium Adams gave him, and we get an Adams Ra's on the front of the package. On the back it's more modern art, and Ra's has a normal head...and eyebrows.
