What a genuine pleasure it was to watch this series. I don't hand out praise much anymore, probably a fault with me getting older, but wow what a great series this was and in my opinion is the best series on Disney+.

Beautifully shot, they used CG only when they had to and all of the sets and practical sets were just top notch. The "used in feeling" for Star Wars was front and center and made it all look believable. The cast was amazing as well, all great choices.

To top it off with having 12 episodes for the series to stretch out in was great. Some will call it slow, and it was, but well paced slow. I read that season 2 is planned for 12 episodes as well so something to look forward too for sure!

i suspect S2 will move faster though as I think it is set to take place over the remaining 4 years before R1

I had read that as well. I bet there will be a considerable time jump between seasons.

What a great series. For the first time, I really felt like what it was like to live in the Star Wars universe, especially under the empire. The shades of gray in every character were really interesting, and at times you had to wonder who was worse, the early rebels or the Imperials. Of course the ending kind of answered that question for us, but there's still some of that shady realism that Rogue One first introduced into the mix.

My friend Ryan has a nice roundtable discussion on Andor with some other discerning Star Wars fans. Yeah, it's on the network I'm on, but I'd plug it anyway. Some really insightful thoughts shared here.

I’m late to the party, but I just finished watching Andor…and…WOW…what a great series.

While The Mandalorian is still more fun to me…Andor is the most “grownup” Star Wars production I’ve ever seen.

Let me just say this much, the prison segment is downright harrowing. Never seen such a clean, yet hellish prison like that. Assembling over and over again…

    …Death Star screw bolt nuts…
