Too bad Disney's 3 buck a month price hike will be deciding for me to drop them.

First three episodes got things off to a pretty good start.
The grittier side of the SW universe is well portrayed in this show.
The story is unfolding at a leisurely pace, but with 12 episodes in the season, it can afford to.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Grittier side of SW is exactly right.
It’s extremely well-made. All of the actors are very good. The story is crafted with much suspense.
That said… I kept thinking to myself that I really miss SW “space fantasy.” This is not light-hearted.Comment

Episode 3 moves the story along well.
Nice to see Mon Mothma again.
The writing in this show is solid... significantly better than most of the other Disney SW output.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

first time i have ever heard a real curse word in SW that's for sure. first time for sexual encounter on screen as well. not complaining, just commenting. i really like the show so farComment

Love that this is approached as a Sci-fi series and thats the meat of it. Good writing and story telling first, then apply the star wars filter after that. Really good show so farComment

I’m loving it. I agree with many of you saying that this is grittier and more adult fair. And that’s a good thing. There’s room for different variations. I mean, all the original fans are middle aged to old, me included. Sometimes you get tired of watching G-rated Sesame Street muppets in Star Wars all the time, let’s have some dirty laundry in the mostly pristine Star Wars universe once in a while…
