Married..with Children is coming back

As a cartoon. They've signed Ed O'Neil,Katy Segal,Christina Applegate and David Faustino to come back as the Bundys. Word is both Hulu and Peacock have expressed interest.

I just had a flashback when they brought back the cast of Gilligan's Island as a cartoon (twice!) in the seventies and eighties!.

Any chance they could borrow the Gilligan and Happy Days concept and put the cartoon in Space? Buck could be an Astro type dog. Al can sell space shoes. Bud can be looking for space bimbos. It writes itself!

Good Times is going the animated route too,it seems. Netflix is suppose to be airing that.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's Married..with Children made most of its bones challenging societies' limits of what belongs--- and doesn't belong on Network TV.

TODAY ----- Yea, ok … Al probably likes Trump … But can you make a series based on that ?

From what I've read,Sony has more control over things this way. They originally wanted to do a live-action series where Bud was divorced and moved back into his old home with his ex.(not sure why most series do this but whatever.) Al and Peg had moved to Vegas after winning the lottery. But they said the son of one of the co-creators balked at the idea,that's why they went with the cartoon.
