Vin's Universe Han Solo & Chewbacca!

    Han Solo & Chewbacca!

This was a project I wanted to do for sometime. I was already working on Han when J told me I should make the Chewbacca.

My friend scanned the Chewbacca for me (Thanks Tommy) - Than I altered the files to remove his bandolier and then I designed a removable one for him and his bowcaster.
Shout out to my Daughter Bella who I have been teaching brush to - she made the smaller ammo clip She also added the star wars back drops to the pictures

At some point may revisit Chewy and give him bendable swivel arms - but for now I'm happy with it.

Han Solo was a file I got on line and just altered - same with his vintage blaster
The more realistic one was made from scratch.

Awesome paint jobs on the Solo Head and Chewy were by Black Knight - Thanks J!

    Thanks for looking
    Enjoy!

Omg, its the Kenner Chewbacca in 1:9 scale! That is brilliant.

Great Han head and paintjob too. Did you use Lion Rock figure pants for Han?

haha yes I did - they are a little snug - especially on the type S - but they work as long as you go with the high boots

the 1/9 Chewy is indeed a treat to behold. I think maybe MEGO would have done something a little more rubber bandy, like the Doctor Who giant robot, but this is super charming and a great throwback treat to us kids of the 70s. Han looks spectacular! Backdrops are pretty cool, too. Great work all around.

Oh, I love that you did that. When I was growing up, I would kitbash my "Mego Han Solo" using those pants! These figures make the kid in me very happy.

Good grief these are nice! Chewie was a childhood favorite and Han is perfect.
