    First Fighting Superman variation question.

Would a FF Palitoy Superman with the "slits" under the arms, be worth more than one without? Or would they be worth the same?

I know I paid the same for the ones with arm slits since they were just listed as fist fighters.

Honestly - I still need Captain America and would pay more - so for us that know and want this variation - I would say it is worth more

In addition to the Palitoy FF Spiderman and Superman, did any of the other UK FF's have the "slit" arm variation, or was it just Spiderman and Superman?

        Captain America, I thought.

Many thanks PNGwynne. Have you ever seen one? Looks like the "slit" variation was on all Spiderman figures, but only on a few FF Superman and Captain America figures. A FF Superman with the "slit" arm variation recently sold on e-bay, and that was the first time that I have ever seen one. So these variations must be quite rare then.

IIRC I saw one since joining here, but I don't recall exactly who/when. I'll PM you with a suggestion.

I first learned of the UK black-button FFs in the nineties from a super-collector, but the modified uniforms were new to me, too.

Nice pictures and thanks for posting.
Did not realise that the Lizard also had the variation as well.
Silly question, but I wonder if there are any FF Spiderman figures out there that do not have the "splits" under their arms?
