This is only a 7 episode run, and I am not sure if I like it. I stopped watching Toon In With Me after the first week due to the fact that I had to work with my Dad so I have nothing to compare it to. I am going to try and make Sventoonie to go with my set, and if I can find my blobfish from Octonauts I will include him.

The morning cartoons come on while I commute home so I rarely see it. The hosts are not my cup of tea. I would love to see a Pennywise Bozo hybrid as a cartoon show host but that might just be me. Sventoonie seems to just miss the mark on what I want to see.

The only reason I like MeTV to air Batman 66 is it always me to tweet about it. They are editing the shows out to fit for commercials.

Not quite what I was expecting. There were a few good laughs. Might have benefited from a little more time in the oven. Could they be floating contingency plans for Rich Koz's eventual retirement? He doesn't seem to have a protege...

Took some time for the "Toon In" crew to grow on me. It ain't Shakespeare, but they cheerfully soldier on. It's obviously an awkward local show vibe they're going for (at least, I think it is). Bill brings in some pretty obscure action figures sometimes. It's pleasant enough and I'm grateful for the cartoons! They write and perform material for a daily show. I've seen surprisingly few reruns. Comedy is hard, people! I'm willing to cut them a ton of slack!

Found this story just before I posted. A little insight, perhaps. https://www.robertfeder.com/2022/03/...nd-sventoonie/

Was never a fan of Sventoonie as a horror host …

Wish they would bring back "Stella !!! --- The Man-Eater From Manayunk" ---- Karen Scioli"

I agree, I think now that summer is just around the corner, maybe they should do some line up changes, but keep Svengoolie on from 8pm to 10pm it’s the perfect time slot. I’d like to see Batman on from 7pm to 8pm then Svengoolie followed by Star Trek, Lost in Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. jmo

I guess Sventoonie is a tuna flavored version of the Cryptkeeper horror host puppet.
