Is Green Hornet still missing from streaming platforms? What is the deal with that, anyway?
Use to have the TV series on a really small streaming channel but it looks like it got caught and taken off. Only thing now besides the movie is the serial.
Unfortunately for me Star Trek TOS is not offered free on any service, you have to buy each episode in HD for $2.99
But….MeTV is now showing it in my area, after a very long absence at 11:00pm, replacing Buck Rogers.
The Powers of Matthew Star is new to my area, at 6:00am, have no idea what it’s replacing, I’m never watching tv at that time.
Ironically TOS used to be on both Hulu and Netflix. I think its on the CBS paramount network. I bought the DVD set 5 years ago I thought it was a waste because it was available to see everywhere. But that's the joy of physical media , streaming sites can pull shows. Hulk was pulled recently after being on NBC and TUBI.
I've been wanting to see some of the early seasons of "Northern Exposure" (I was overseas when it originally aired) and apparently it is held out of streaming or TV of any kind because of music rights.
At this point it's a niche market as best. The ad revenue from it being free on Tubi is better than it it sitting on the shelf. As the old saying goes "10% of something is better than 100% of nothing. "

I should rephrase it to say bootleg streaming. I imagine its a similar situation to Batman where you have the Doziers, Lee and Williams estates, the copyright owner and the studios involved fighting over the pie.
