Sorry for the folks who can’t get to the theater, I hope you enjoy it on HBOMAX. I am looking forward to it there as well.
I am going to go see it again Thursday. The first viewing was IMAX and I was thrilled the whole movie. I hope I have the same reaction when I drag the wife at the regular screen. I am pretty sure I will, it’s that good.

I envy you. I love going to the movie theater, but I just can’t right now.

If you could make it to Cleveland, I’d let you have a free showing with your family. Not sure it’s worth the drive from California, though.

What an awesome and gracious invitation, my friend.

But we take care of mom 24/7. She’s in her 10th year suffering from dementia. It’s practically impossible traveling right now.

Thank you so much. What a mind-blowing amazing offer…

Hector, it sounds like you're the hero of this thread. You're a good son and, well.. moms rule!

And I really enjoyed the movie. Not just a good Batman movie but a really good mystery/thriller/action movie. I enjoyed they had a clear vision of the Batman and stuck with it. I also think this more grounded storyline works well for Batman. I definitely saw about 20 minutes that easily could've been left on the editing floor. Pattinson was decent as Batman. He worked with this vision of Batman being the "real" person and Bruce Wayne being the disguise. Kravitz did a good job as Selina Kyle but I really thought the character didn't need to be in the film. It didn't hurt the film but it would've been fine and better focused without. I did like how little Penguin was in the film. Any more would've jammed-up the story.

I’m no hero, just doing what I’m supposed to do. You would also. Yeah, moms rule!

                    But thank you nevertheless…

Before the first Burton / Keaton movie, one of the ideas for a Batman movie was a real world story of a private detective type Bruce Wayne who used a mask as a disguise with a late 60s muscle car in a French Connecrion type story involving a drug boss and his secret daughter. Nice to see it finally got made and they added the Zodiac killer.

Went to go see it last night. Thought it was the perfect blend of Detective Batman and Purveyor of Fine Pain Batman. Really enjoyed it. You're gonna dig the Batmobile, Hec.

It’s already my all time favorite Batmobile, even over the 66 one…

                              SEMI-SPOILERS

^An intriguing scene that makes me wonder why they cut it in the first place! I guess it does kind of "spoil" the surprise that the Riddler DOESN'T know Batman is Bruce Wayne...he's just a HUGE fan of him. If Joker tells Batman that earlier in the film, it kind of undercuts Dano's explosive, reality-warping revelation that Batman DOESN'T feel like he does.

What's even more intriquging is ...what's this Joker's backstory? Are those chemical burns? Is he deformed from some kind of disease? Does he self-mutilate or something?
