I've liked Strawberry Shortcake since I was a kid.

This surprised me. Way out of their comfort zone. It's a different take from the classic Kenner dolls but I still dig them. I hope they won't be too expensive or limited.

when I was a kid I really wanted a purple pie man figure lol but of course they were girl toys and didn't dare ask for one

I collect Huckleberry Pie. but man, you know these are gonna cost $50 if not more

I'd guess they'll be in the $35-$45 range that BFS has been trying to land most their stuff in.

I appreciate that they're really doing a lot of "girl" stuff and creating positive female toys, characters and lines... But I sometimes question the strategy.

Either way, they look good but not something I'd ever buy. Maybe a purple pie man for the lolz, but probably not.
