They'll be available for purchase through the ZICA Toys Direct website and hopefully a few other online retailers, such as BBTS and Cotswold Collectibles.

Not bad at all these bodies. Will there be a female set in the future?

$39.99 is a bit steep for one figure, but hopefully the price will go down in the future.

Yes, if sales of the male body are strong there are plans to offer a female body at some point.

            But it's your dime.
Totally agree. With Mego back, the 1/9 scale is wide open, as long as it is compatible with vintage and new Mego I could see it being a good seller.
Sure, Mego plans a bandless body. But it won't be available separately and it remains to be seen how well it will work.
Meanwhile, there are thousands of vintage and new Mego figures already out there in desperate need of an upgrade!

As long as any new female body has a neck post that is compatible with vintage or new heads, I will not complain.

Will there be heads available as well? Will they fit other heads in that scale?

No plans to make heads for now since custom versions are readily available on places like eBay and Instagram.

Okay, fair enough. But will they fit is the question.

Based on what I've seen, the customizers in the 1/6 scale market always seem to find a way to make the custom heads work with a variety of different bodies. Like the saying goes, "where there's a will, there's a way". The Kickstarter is now live so please help spread the word and hopefully get it funded!

I wonder if one could swap the Playing Mantis Captain Action onto one of these bodies, or if it's too muscular.

                            That's a really good idea!

Why no thigh swivel on the 1:6 body?!

There is some degree of swivel rotation in the thighs but the articulation joint is hidden.
