Mego Reveals at UK ToyFair!

Thanks to our new friend Neil Kenny at the Blast Process Channel (You should subscribe!) we’ve got some images from UK ToyFair and some surprises from the Mego booth including new monsters and a certain Queen. Very interesting!

I hope they are. I hope they get released everywhere. Even though I bought the Topps “exclusive”, it’ll be nice if everyone who wants one gets a shot at it, and maybe a lot of the whining will stop.

Everyone who wanted them had a shot at them, mostly... Our Canadian collectors got the shaft with the pricing on shipping, but they technically were able to get a shot at them (though I can see why the shipping priced them out of it).

I don't like the idea of something that was being touted as an exclusive all of a sudden becoming wide released-I mean I would have bought what I bought anyway, but since it was touted as 'exclusive', I'd hope they stay that way.

The image on the card looks like it's from "Aloha From Hawaii"- Presley was still in pretty good shape when he did that show, so not 'fat Elvis' (as LonnieFisher also pointed out).

The Topps exclusives Hammer Mummy,Phantom, Hunchback,Reaper,Worf, Quark and Borg queen are listed in U.K Toy Fair to be released. I am sure the rest will be too. Topps deal is done and there is no way Mego is wasting these figures and only selling 1500
or less when they can box these and sell to retail.

Thing is, us Canadians paid those shipping fees with the understanding that it would be the only chance to get them. I cant get too worked up about, but it is dishonest.

So as expected these will see a general release. I think we should expect the popular characters but perhaps not everyone.
