Joel gives ETA for Topps figures and sneak peak...

this just showed up on my youtube feed, thought folks here might be interested.

Apparently Topps figures are finished and on the boat to the US. Barring complications, Joel said early to mid-March is expected arrival, but shipping docks, customs, etc. all provide possible delays to that estimate, so don't hold him to that timeframe if something happens at those levels which are out of Mego's control.

I contacted Topps 1-21-22( by phone) and they have no time on these, but said we should get an email around the end of Jan 22 with an update

I didn't take it as all the figures were shipping now, tho he did show samples from the beginning and middle of the run of Topps offerings last year. Without the Gorgon, there were 17 figures offered, I think. Seems like that might get broken up into some smaller batches to manufacture and ship. But maybe they are all on the boat. I am guessing they will still be sorted and shipped as the separate orders we placed during that run once they get to the Topps distribution dept.

I suspect they'll ship individually, but it does seem like most if not all the figures were made at the same time and will be shipped to the US at the same time. I'm guessing Topps will sort through and ship things according to the order dates. That said, it certainly makes you question why each thing had to be a separate order.

But again, the entire Topps partnership was fraught with mind boggling choices top to bottom.
