While going to pick up nephew up for the weekend, boyfriend and I went to Wal-Mart to get his after school snack and to check to see if they got new Megos in:

That looks fantastic. My local is usually a mess, except for the Pop thingies. I guess they either never sell those, or whoever in charge of that section likes to keep things tidy.
I have not seen any space dedicated to a reset on any of the shelves and the employees I've asked don't know what Happy New Fear is. Ah well, the store is on the list, so I am hopeful that I'll find something half as nice as that endcap you are showing.

The Mole People did need a new set of tooling for the hands, so maybe that's what the price increase is for him over the other figures.

The costume was bare-bones and simplified, that should have balanced the cost.

The outfit is Frankenstein's black outfit...This is a starter figure, now I have to find the stuff to make the proper outfit for him & repaint him brown before Svengoolie airs the movie again.

For the record, all of the boxed figures are supposed to be $19.99, so snag them up before Wal-Mart notices their mistake!

Just opend one box to see how sturdy it is and it is worth the extra money. These are not flimsy like other Mego/ReMego boxes.

The set I saw on youtube had a number sticker on the werewolf, so I'd say it's unsold stock that is being repackaged. I say the connection is that they are both flocked.

One Wall mart in my area has a end cap with both 2 packs, and all singles except the Nun that sold out. The other store has some locked in a glass case with no Toxic Avenger or Fly/WW 2pack

One Walmart here just had them in the same collectibles area the other had them in two different places.

Always pays to check round the corners... was able to get my hands on Toxie. But I gotta say...that Wolfman/Fly two pack was tempting too....just the price tag turned me off...I don't get why two figures that retailed for $15 individually would add up to $45 when packed together.
