This needs to be remade as a commemorative piece.

My holy grail. I don't know if I'll ever own one, but I want to. Great video. It's the closest I've ever come to really examining it. Thank you!

One question: What's on the backside of the playset? Just chip board, or are there graphics of the building?

The backside is blank brown cardstock chipboard.

            Wayne Foundation 1977.jpg

My brother and I woke up Christmas 1977 to see this beautiful Wayne Foundation in the living room. One of the best Christmas ever.

Over time and play the Wayne Foundation became DC Comics Leaning Tower so we had to use a bookshelf instead.

Leaning Tower...Shaky Shack...That masonite floor and cardstock wall in a humid climate was not a long term solution. Probably the main reason it is a nearly thousand dollar investment these days.

Re print the graphics and attach them to a plastic shelf unit and you would have a decent and much sturdier substitute.

Super graphics and furniture, but I've never liked the format of this playset. The prototype is intriguing.

I really want to see better photos of the prototype. I want to see the side walls better.

Also I hated to booster rockets on the elevator, it made the bottom level awkward.

I feel like the elevator of the foundation was based on the Batrockets used in this episode of the series.

I never saw the Wayne Foundation until 1979 long after I moved on from WGSH to Micronauts and Star Wars. A friend of mine had it and I thought it was awesome.
