    Gojira!!!

    Made a new one, sculpted the head hands and feet in sculpey, fins are eva foam, body is on a ball jointed doll armature. 12 inches tall at the shoulders and 30 inches from head to tip of tail.

    What can I say? just some amazing work and detail, absolutely love how those back fins came out.

            I dig that you gave him the ears! You're just nailing these head sculpts! Very expressive! Movable jaw?

            (Foam and fluff and monstery stuff! Hard to believe, but you can't argue with the results!)

              no movable jaws..yet. Working that out for a future version.

                Really awesome! The fleece (?) exterior works really well and I love the way the fins came out.

                  Yeah Sherpa fleece for his skin. I thought I was being original with using it but there’s another monster doll maker that was already using it that I found afterwards.

                      As long as you're still kindly entertaining questions, do you custom dye the fleece or match the head / hand paint to the fleece color? Or maybe both?

                        No dying fabric I just try to match paint on the sculpted parts
