That's the internet. People write things and talk $h%t that they would never say in person to your face. I can't remember the last heated argument I've had online because I really don't wish to engage. Also not everyone uses their real pics or name online sometimes they are just trolling to get their kicks.

Still love this site and probably pop on a couple times a week just to see what’s going on. Perhaps we could start a monthly Mouseketeer style roll call to confirm we are still among the living? Beartex2000 checking in from Fort Worth…still here!Comment

I'm still here! I picked up a lot of my Megos and Secret Wars from this group! (Actually, just completed my Secret Wars set this year after splurging on those European issue figures.) I come by to lurk now and then and check the boards.
I only made one Mego Meet when it was in Skokie. That was a lot of fun. I purchased several customs - Nova, Hobgoblin, Stilt-Man, and Hawkeye. My Updated Want List:
Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel
Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!Comment

I'm good Mike! It has been a long time definitely. I am very rarely on here, but I happened to see the thread about people that have pretty much vanished from the Mego Museum and thought "Hey, I resemble that!"
I hope you are doing well my friend. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Looked at your recent IMDB page … Man, you're you're looking totally bad-azz these daysComment

Was just searching for an old Museum custom gallery.
Couldn't find it.
The customizer-artist-dude made the BEST Mego custom Star Trek 3 (The Search For Spock) Kruge EVER !!!
It is why I originally joined the Museum … To see more of his stuff
Is this Gent still around ?Comment

Be nice and inviting to all, but don't TRUST anybody until you feel comfortable with them --- and then, wait an extra year just to be sureLast edited by Mikey; Dec 30, '21, 12:12 PM.Comment

I post maybe once a week, and almost never on either of the two Facebook Mego groups I follow. The most fun I had with Mego collecting goes way back to the late 90's with Robert Levy's listserve. There were some fun guys on that like Robert, another guy named Larry who was hysterical, Joe Duroen (Sp?), Rob Chatlin, maybe Brian. Anyway, the whole thing imploded with internal bickering and that was the end of it.
Maybe it's because Brian moderates these boards and eliminates the BS, but FB seems to also have so much bickering and whining. I mean, it's all about toys that none of us really need. We're not talking about global warming here.Comment
