Do you miss any old members that no longer post?
I was looking over some old threads, and saw some old names...


TOYS2COOL was a name that stuck out -- fun poster, hasn't been around in years. I enjoyed his posts and back and forth.


I realize not every one gets the chance to attend toy shows and cons. But seeing the local show regulars is always nice.

On a more philosophical note it's not he who dies with the most toys wins. When you are loved and connect with the most people over a long lifetime that's what is important.

Theresa is missed. She commissioned a Pulsar and SMDM suit for me years ago before they became more commonly available as well as a GI Joe ATeam cmdr suit too. Was a great talent and enjoyed seeing her work.

If you go through the members list, you will see a lot of familiar names that haven't posted in years. I was doing that a few days ago and it was kind of depressing. Lots of people it was fun to hang out with in the museum. We are a much smaller community than we used to be. Anyone remember the purge of 2007? I was surprised that I got purged because I was here almost every day, but wasn't posting in the forum. I was silently browsing the museum pictures and wishing I had a huge collection. Now I only come to the forum. Maybe they should purge again. It would be interesting to see how many names remained in the members list.

I can't believe LadyZod hasn't posted in two years. She used to post a lot. I'm amazed at how many people are not posting anymore. If you check who hasn't posted in over a year, 25 of the first 30 people on the first page of members fall into that category. Same with page two, 25 out of 30 haven't posted in the last year. 26 out of 30 on the third page. Wow....out of the first 120 people, only 20 are still active.

I miss several members, Emergency Ian springs to mind. Some, I don't miss, heh. And I miss the more active marketplace and customs.

FB definitely has an impact. There're other factors as well.

In 2007 they purged all the non-active members. Since I wasn't posting on the forum, my old membership was purged. I found out when I finally tried to post after that and I had to rejoin.
