Cool! So what’s a Heroes of the Ice head ?
You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks

Heroes of the Ice is a series of Hockey figures if I'm not mistaken.

Correct. They are fairly mediocre figures that just happen to have Mego scale heads with decent sculpting. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/PR8AA...MbP/s-l400.jpg Back in the day they flooded my local KB Toys on cheap closeout, so I have a bit of a stockpile.

The necks are a bit long and have to be cut down, and the heads are kind of thin, so I usually have to do some re-sculpting to the hair/back of the head to add some width, depth and volume. But they do give you some different faces to utilize; my Seven Soldiers of Victory Stripesy uses one of those heads, as does my Crime Syndicate Power Ring. This one didn't need a face, but the head in question was not in good shape and thus well suited to be completely covered.
