Anybody get a recent McRib ?

Have no idea why but this round of McRibs tastes way better than previous years --- not including it's initial run in the early 80's...

This recent McRib tastes like the early 80's version.

Did McDonalds go back to using real meat ?

    Follow up question,

If you found out McRibs were "made of PEOPLE !!!"

Would you still eat them ?

For me, as long as they weren't murdered I think i'd still get a few McRibs

Like Rory Calhoun said, “meat is meat and a man's gotta eat!”

I'm not against the concept of these patties--we used to have them with baked beans and coleslaw at at my old job and they were tasty. But the McD sauce (and excess of it) is nauseating.

Yes, it is nauseating sweet … bordering on candy-sweet

Wish they would serve McRibs without sauce and have a few options to add on yourself in packets - like nuggets.

I would go for the hot mustard

Actually, I was just thinking of ordering it plain and adding sauce.

I like the hot mustard, too--sometimes I bring packets home.

I've only had one this time around, but it did seem better than usual. Swimming in sauce. But the few times I've got them with less sauce...to me they were way too dry!

Local meat packer Webber's Sausage used to make those exact patties and sell them. Microwaveable!

The McRib has always been a guilty pleasure for me. I absolutely love them. Just like hot dogs, I don't want to know what's in them; I don't want the truth, because I can't handle the truth. I appreciate them for what they are. That being said, I haven't had one in a while, but I hope they haven't changed.
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

I usually get one when they show up. I just had one last week, and it was okay. I enjoyed my McDouble a lot more.

I think they're just using a better grade of squirrel meat.

Actually, squirrel meat isn't as bad as you would might think.

Add some spices, simmer longer at a low temp ….

Would never know you're not eating beef

My granfather hunted, so he would bring over squirrel, rabbit, turtle and of course deer. He would always share with us, and my mother (his daughter) was more or less force to oblige. She fried up and breaded the squirrel and rabbit, and even the turtle. It surpringly really DID taste like chicken.

I always thought turtle had a bit of a fishy taste

I guess it depends on the way you make it

One thing I've never tried is black bear … Back in the day my bro used to fish in Canada … Lived with some indigenous people while on Holiday and the main course was usually black bear … Said it was good as long as you don't eat the fat (which supposedly is nasty)

My other half loves these sandwiches, and gets them weekly whenever they're available. While I've had a few over the years, and certainly enjoy the flavor, my digestive system compels me to resist.

I have had two so far this year. They were delicious as always. I look forward to McDonalds having these every year.
