    The Man of Steel

I saw this one in Target today, the lone Mego hanging in the collectors area. I'm not really a fan of how Zack Snyder has handled Superman but I don't hold that against Henry Cavill. Anyway, what a thrill to find a Mego SUPERMAN in the wild! I felt just like a kid taking him to the register to check out (and I could hear my much-missed Mom saying "You've got already got a Superman at home").

The suit is very basic screen printing, though I like how they did the cape and the scooped neck. The body is sturdy and feels like it could actually stand up to kids playing with it. The sculpt isn't dead-on Cavill, but does evoke him, and the head is scaled pretty well.

The lone mego hanging in the collectors area, like it was specifically waiting for you to bring him home.
        Nice find and nice story.

Cool & Thanks! I will have to see it in person; I am on the fence with both Superman and WW.

I just picked one up at Target. I like the figure. Everything is well executed, except the head sculpt, which is soft. It only has a vague Cavill resemblance.

I haven't been buying any of the Mego heroes, because I already have so many of the characters from FTC. But this version of Superman is unique & cool, and I'll pick one up. And I hope this release brings us a step closer to Christopher Reeve Superman!

I finally gave in and bought this Superman and Wonder Woman at Target this evening. I agree about wanting a Christopher Reeves Superman by Mego! I have the Mezco Reeves Superman but Mego is who will really hit all my nostalgia wants when and if they make it happen. I have not been able to get the John Williams Superman Theme out of my head since I left Target!

I actually picked him up a few weeks back for a custom. He's a good overall figure.

I'm happy to have the toy I have 2 I think even. That being said it was the MM community that pointed out the lopsided face which really grabs me everytime I see it now like something in a sitcom. Also, I can help feeling he needs a plastic belt. Biggest issue tho is both he and wonder woman really need the matching batman.

What about a Cyborg to go along with them, too?
