    I Love Museum People Rant

Yesterday I simply overwhlemed with the kindness of people here at the Mego Museum. I don't want to embarass any particualr person (although I will mention them if they don't mind) but here is a list of things I had offered to me in ONE day-

-unprompted, someone just up and sent me 5 cool posters

-again, without request, I was sent a Dr. Who DVD

-another member offered to MAKE me a T-shirt

-a yet further person offered me some books, gratis

-a still yet separate member is sending me an exclusive comic (this will the 5th one!)

And ALL of this offered in just one day!!! I can't even begin to list all the kind things people have done for me over the years. This remains the only place on the internet I visit almost every day. I actually know about Megos now, so its obviously soemthing else that keeps bringing me back.

We are very lucky here...99% of people here are great.
They give free advice and go out of there way to help others.
But best of all, when you are down and need a friend...you'll always
    find a few here.

and all I got was a rock ... Really the people make up a huge part of this place. If I up and quit collecting Megos I'd still come here for the friendships! Bill, you've been quite kind to me over the years! You are still taking me to Turkey, right?

I'd love to take you, but my girlfriend looks better in a bikini

and, BTW, I don't think I'd embarass Mr. Arnold to mention he was one those people listed above. Thanks again, Tim.

So who makes up the other one percent? Kidding! I just could not resist that. I have been away from here a couple of days and was having withdrawals. Seriously though there are some really good members here.

I have had numerous members take very good care of me since I have been here and I learned early on to try and pass it on (Karma and all).

Huge fan of Mitch's Wednesday Morning Trivia. I think it encourages interaction and camaraderie on a grand scale. Thanks, Mitch!

I've met two members here face-to-face, garagesale and txteach, and I would hang out with those dudes anytime! Two of the nicest, coolest guys I have ever met and I look forward to hanging out with both of them again (have a drink/dessert on me at MegoMeet, dudes! Wish I could be there.).

Spent some time in chat with some of you and that was great, too! ABMAC gave me a total thrashing in chat (my first time there) and I loved every minute of it. Most recently, I recounted the tale to spiderrouge and Monkeytennis and we had a laugh about the thrashing. I really enjoyed chatting with those two, as well.

All-in-all, I wish everyone I dealt with on a day-to-day basis had the qualities on Mego Museum Members!
