The Mos Espa Vespa gang was... interesting.

I can deal with the Rancor being young and Boba wanting to ride it, which is kind of weird, but this "gang" was laughable.

All I kept going back to is this felt like the gang from Back to the Future 2 on their hoverboards chasing Marty. My son and I were making a lot of fun about their "bikes" and just the overall scene. I'm not going to stop watching the Book of Boba Fett, but hasn't been been very good so far.

Really not surprised with the Rancor. Didn't we just see Boba's sister do the same thing in Bad Batch?

^Yep, Mando is coming back. Episode 5 viewings will no doubt surpass episode 1.

I do wish they'd just hit the nail on the head and had Boba tell Fennec not to call his ship "Slave 1". It makes total sense where they've taken the character that he would rename the ship, or call it by its actual model name (which he is now doing in the show). It would paper over the corporate reasoning for doing it and make it story canon. They missed an opportunity there.
