My favorite kind. Decided to pay a visit to Blast From the Past in Burbank on Saturday.
Found a toy from my childhood: Mike Power: Atomic Man
A nostalgic memory of this guy was tagging along with my Dad to his Mechanic's Shop. I had Mike with me along with a Flash Comic Book that introduced me to Reverse Flash. That Comic also introduced me to Sea Monkeys, which kinda' freaked me out, thinking they actually looked like the caricatures of them. (Funny how many years later, I would be feeding live "Sea Monkeys" to my Discus and Angel Fish. ) What topped off this Atomic Man/Mechanic's Garage Adventure was a view of a nudie girlie calendar he had up. At a young age, my Spidey Senses were tingling....in my pants. Very confusing.
Anyway
Atomic Eye!
Figured he could chill here, next to my only other Joe.
Saw a couple of toys there that reminded me of a couple of Droogs here:
Mikey had a post about Hellraiser characters not too long ago. A beautiful Female Cenobite Model Kit from Screamin'. I had forgotten how large these things were.
And Hector had mentioned Trilogy of Terror, so this goes to him.
