1/10 Scale The Batman Batmobile R/C

    A mere 500 American dollars.

Mattel is releasing a 1:10-scale over-the-top RC replica of Matt Reeve’s The Batman Batmobile. It'll cost $500 and if you’re so inclined, pre-sale begins tomorrow, October 20 at 9 a.m. PT.

IMO, worth every penny. The scale is HUGE at 1:10, at least 17 inches long.
The animatronic Batman figure, lights and mist effects? Freaking INSANE.
Easily one of the coolest R/C cars I've ever seen.

Worth it? Sure. Will I actually be spending $500 on such a thing? No, I will not.

          Neither will I.
But, I don't think the price is outrageous considering all you get.

I know a lot of the die-hard R/C guys spend more than that on their own custom cars.

I was into R/C cars back in the day. I’d easily spend $500 on them. Heck, I bought an Associated R/C car for a whopping $300, and this was way back in the late 80s, lol. Of course my Associated was pro-level…it would smoke this Batmobile in a race, lol.

I sold off all my R/C collection though. However, if you are a Batman collector, this would make a great addition. This will easily double in price in the secondary market for sure.

            It is very cool indeed.

It’s funny how many think the price is too much, but many here have spent thousands on little 6 inch plastic figures over the years, myself included, lol

Of course a tiny portion of me thinks...a 1/10 vehicle that already holds a 1/12 figure... I think I can get a 1/9 figure in there...
