    As a Dem, if this dude ever ran for Prez, I would have voted him

    Didn't always agree with his politics, but meh

    Reminded me of Eisenhower

    A man EVERYBODY loved

      i just saw this news earlier. a very sad day for America. i had so wanted him to run for president back in the day. He was probably smart to not do it. who would want the pressure

          I met him once when he was speaking at a company event. A very impressive man, and the fact that he didn't want to be President made me want him to be President even more.

              One thing that irritates me to no end …

              ...is his portrayal in Tim Burton's "Mars Attack's"

              Loved the movie, (one of my fav movies EVER) but Paul Winfield made him look like a total jerk
