    Bullmark Dr. Zaius

Condition isn't ideal but not a bad price for a Bullmark Ape.

Too bad the box and insert are so abused, but this is a typical Japanese-multi-listing, originally with three different sellers. So if you're interested, you have some bargaining power.

      What's the deal with those?

The items are held by a third party (sometimes a storefront, collector, or warehouse) and the resellers compete (to varying degrees) to sell the items for them. When these listings started popping up years ago, many of us were very skeptical, but after numerous purchases from Japan I can tell you that many are indeed legit. In fact I've scored some crazy rare Saru no Gundan stuff that otherwise I likely would have never known existed without these types of transactions.

Should also add it's not entirely uncommon to have your order cancelled and refunded, should another seller get more for the item. You have to be a little willing to go for a 24 to 72 hour ride into the unknown.

Ok, thanks I've bought things on Yahoo.jp that were 50% more on eBay at the same time so I was curious.

Right!, when these items show up there's often a network of sellers who get the listing and decide if they want to add it. Like the normal free market, hoping to get the larger commission on the sale and/or adjusting the prices to incur fees and different S/H options

It's similar to how Mandarake operates a global website that references their network of stores/outlets. You can buy something, but then have to wait for them to confirm that the item is still/actually available.
