14" Shazam - Any Insight To The Delay?

It looks like every figure from Wave 13 has become available through various distributors except for the 14" Shazam figure. Are they simply sitting offshore in a container waiting to be unloaded, or has there been some sort of other delay?

    Does anybody have any insight?

Lol...I can appreciate that. My wallet (on the other hand) said, "ask please" since it prepaid back on April 4th.

As far as I can tell, he hasn't made it to the distributors yet. I don't do FB, so I cannot inquire there, that's why I was hoping somebody here would have some insight they could share.

He got delayed the first time he was announced a few years back, and so far he's a no-show for Wave 13, meanwhile everything else from that wave has been out for quite some time.

I was merely curious when I posted this thread, however, the silence here has me actually concerned about it now.

I'm sure he will be with the next wave of megos like cage spock, new kirk etc and I think they will hit around November or December according to my bbts pre-order page.(or later due to the supply chain problem)

What would it take to make Megos all in America?

And the EPA to allow a major change of laws on what type of plastics can be produced in the US.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

Won’t work, would cost to much plus health insurance costs, cheaper labor wages in China.

Pretty much and why it will never happen unless a eco friendly durable material is introduced to toy manufacture market. But petroleum is the driving force to continue to make products from plastics and that will never change in my generation and life time.

Well, that answers my question. I was wondering about the feasibility of producing the heads (and maybe the cloth goods) here as a way of facilitating size and quality control. Import the bodies and assemble here. I didn't really think it would be cost effective, but I had no idea there were laws against certain plastic production in the U.S.

Wonder how long it would take CG to hand carve 10,000 identical wooden heads?
