    Enterprise "Bookshelf" Playset

Hello everyone! New user to the forum but certainly not to MEGO. Like many of you, MEGO toys are the first I remember having as a child. I'm excited by the resurgence and the future of the company!
To celebrate, I have created a custom Enterprise "bookshelf" playset for display of my modern MEGO Trek TOS collection. Unfortunately, I don't have the originals I owned as a kid. Enjoy and apologies to those who have already seen this on FB

I look forward to contributing to the community!

    Michael

That is all kinds of awesome! I do something similar in my Detolf display case, but your version is so much cooler.

Are the "furniture" pieces scratch built? I really like that dilithium chamber... I don't think I've seen a Mego version of that before!

Thanks! Yes, everything is handmade in my shop using primarily MDF. The crystal and chamber sitting on the warp drive are LEGO. The "glowing balls" are marbles.

Glad to see you made it - I was just getting ready to look you up on FB. The design of the transporter is great stuff.

This is terrific!!!! I have seen something similar with the Kenner Star Wars figures, but never with Mego. I am totally going to steel your idea for displaying my Star Trek Meogs. Very well done.

I love it! I want to do something similar with my figures. Just need to find the right size bookshelf!
