Reading all these FB issues is interesting since earlier today, I noticed a yahoo news thread stating that the future of FB is in jeopardy. I didn’t have time to actually go and read the story, so I’m not quite sure what it’s all about?

Although yahoo news is kind of like those supermarket tabloid newspapers in internet form, but I am still wondering what it’s about.

hunchback and reaper do not show up in the Topps archive. does that mean not enough orders?

There is no indication that they are not being produced, but they do have the lowest "print run" (Hunchback = 806, Grim Reaper = 1062)

Those numbers might change. They have in the past for other figures and got larger.

^^ Early on there was conjecture about the numbers. Was even questioned by Mego itself in one of the chatty group things. Has it ever been confirmed those are the number of orders (an order could contain multiple figures) or the number of total figures ordered?
