    Elvira on Comet TV

Friday nights 6 PM 5 Central it's a Science Fiction Double Feature with Elvira this October. I couldn't find a lost but I think Night of the Living Dead kicks things off.

^So...all public domain stuff. Not that it's a bad thing. I'd be interested to hear her take on Satanic Rites of Dracula. An underrated Hammer, and the last time Lee played the role (for Hammer) and the last time he clashed with Cushing's Van Helsing. We're covering the first film in the "mod Dracula" set, Dracula AD 1972 on our House of Franklin-Stein podcast this season.

Enjoyed the films last night. Does anyone know if these are “new” or are these shows that she did a while back and are just being shown now?

These are the short-lived 2010 revival episodes. (Man, time flies!)

Really miss the spooky intro music from the original run. The young whipper-snapper theme from this batch can get right off my lawn!

(Seriously though, the music is kinda catchy. Like much of modern horror, it caters to the "goth-rock-punk-metal-alt-whatever they call it these days" crowd. That's okay. I just miss the good ol' days.... when they catered to me!)

I remember renting that one back in the videotape days: It was always rented. We finally did get to rent it, and it was a disappointment.
