    Christopher Reeve in memoriam

    I saw today Google is honoring Christopher Reeve on what would have been his 69th birthday.

    Superman is still my favorite superhero movie; I have wonderful, nostalgic memories of seeing it and having associated merchandise.

    Thank you, Chris--you made the film's tagline real for 11-year-old me.

      i was wondering why they had him on the google window. that's great of them to honor him like that. i still get sad when i think of what happened to him. He really made us all believe that a man could fly

          I was very happy to see that. Superman The Movie is my favorite film, and Reeve IS Superman to me. I can't separate the two. His efforts after his disability are inspiring. Well deserved tribute.

              I agree, though that's not to say I dislike George Reeves. I highly recommend Chris's and his wife Dana's books. Inspiring and poignant.
