I still get a kick out of it, but I have to agree with Brian that the overly loud and repetitive music drowning out the dialog is kind of hard not to notice now. I still prefer the solo Spider-Man cartoon from around this time, that used some of the same scripts. Just a tad less goofy, and it felt like contemporary Spider-Man comics of the time, for the most part. But I still have a crush on Firestar!

I woulda been 12 when that show debuted, and it was right in my wheelhouse. I know I watched it. And yet really nothing about it set up residence in my psyche like other cartoons I was watching around that time, like Voltron and Battle of the Planets.
The opening is LOL funny with that "chillin in the apartment" scene.
Love the knock-off Sal Buscema Hulk on the wall
