Marvel Legends BAF vs MEGO

Hello MM friends,

A friend of mine is trying to get me to collect Marvel Legends Build a Figure? Guess ML has been out since 2003.

I currently and always have done MEGO. I checked out the Marvel and they seem to be pretty popular and some pricey.

There to small for me, 6 inch figures and guess made out of PVC? The price point is average to high compared to MEGO.

I think you get way better figure in old and new MEGO, I don't know?


Anyone collect Marvel Legends?

Objectively Marvel Legends are vastly superior to Mego in every way. Better articulation, sculpting, paint, accessories, design, character selection, etc...

If you prefer Mego that’s okay. Nothing wrong with that. Mego has a unique aesthetic. But yeah Marvel Legends are great and are arguably one of the best toy lines of all time.

And if you’re a Marvel collector, it’s about the only way you’re going to get most the major Marvel figures. Unless you want to buy Minimates. Mego can’t make Marvel.
