We finally had time to watch both season of the HBO Max Doom Patrol and WOW!!!

Right off the bat you can tell they when with the Vertigo/Grant Morrison version and did a great job at that crazy mixed-up world. I wasn't sure about putting Cyborg in with the Doom Patrol would work but somehow it did. The crazy villains that there were able to do turned out amazing. I will be honest, during early 90's I was in the Navy so I was not reading Vertigo Comics (hard to find) so it wasn't until years later that I picked them up. Even the comic book was hard to get into because this was not the same team I grew up reading. Since I did read plenty of horror books I stuck it out.
I was shocked when Mr. Nobody was done in 'live-action'. This was by far the one villain that had to wait till technology caught up to do it.
Willoughby Kipling (even in his bio) a poor mans version of John Constantine and the writers of the show proved it.
Decreator was another character from the comic books that was done very well.
Nurnheim & The Archons of Nùrnheim only showed up in 3 issues but were included in the series.
Beard Hunter, this is one gross character I was really shocked to see.
Flex Mentallo was a fun character to add to the series.
Danny The Street was the one character I was waiting for the whole season. I love Danny and even made a custom JLU version of him back in the day.

Red Jack is another character that needed tech to make it possible to do and he turned out great.
Valentina Vostok a.k.a. Negative Woman episode was good. Since her comic book team of Doom Patrol with Joshua Clay a.k.a Tempest, Steve Dayton a.k.a. Mento, Arani Desai a.k.a. Celsius & Rhea Jones a.k.a Lodestone showed up in an early episode it was more fan service to include them.
This was a crazy series based on a crazy run of comic books and the fact that they got all that within 2 seasons was amazing and I cannot wait till season 3.
