The "special" drug episodes of Dragnet

I know they have a following.
Jack Webb doesn't have any hands on experience with these things.

^Kind of like the special drug issues of Amazing Spider-Man that Stan Lee wrote, when he really didn't know much about drugs either. Well-intentioned and revolutionary for comics, but the O'Neil/Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow comics that followed shortly thereafter were definitely better grounded in some kind of reality.

My fav "drug episode" of a classic TV series episode is the one where Hutch was forced into being a heroin addict... (Starsky & Hutch)

Heard this episode was/is banned in England

      What's up with that ?

I like the one with the ersatz Timothy Leary, actor Liam Sullivan (ST TOS' Parman).
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

A lot of 70’s crime drama tv shows had an episode or two where the main character was drugged by someone.
Starsky & Hutch, Charlie’s Angels, Vega$, Hawaii Five-O, etc..it was usually by injection or something dropped in their coffee.

Remember French Connection 2? Gene Hackman went to Paris after the heroin dealer dude, was captured and given heroin injections.
